Universal Voice / Data, a
telecommunications company founded to serve the building industry in the area
of design and implementation of communication distribution systems, began in
1985 with a two-man operation installing small key systems. Since then, we have
grown to a 40+ man operation installing voice / data wiring for multi-story
commercial, industrial, educational and campus environments. We have
successfully built a solid reputation by providing consistent high quality
reliable service to our customers.
Our facility is located at 3800 Woodpark Blvd Suite E, just
North of Charlotte. It is designed to accomidate each integral part of our
operation in one central location, under one roof. We have offices for our
executive staff and a conference area for planning and implementation. A
training facility for our project managers and
installers, of which local suppliers also use privately, to train their
technicians and managers. We house supplies and materials needed for the
variety of projects in our 10,000 sq ft warehouse. Additionally, Universal Voice / Data is a certified
installer of
Systimax Structured Cabling Systems,
Panduit
Network Solutions,
Hubbell
Premise Wiring,
Commscope and
Leviton
Telcom.
With
our long-standing relationships with some of the most respected corporations in
the Charlotte region, it is our commitment to each of them and each of our
manufacturer partners to educate our technicians and installers annually as to
the constant changes within our industry. A number of our technicians have been
certified as
BICSI
installers. Local suppliers also offer technical training privately at our
facility at Woodpark Blvd.
